Demands Obama End Torture
Of Children in Florida, and Elsewhere

Today we have learned of secret
administration plans to transfer allegedly tortured terrorist detainees from
the U.S. base at Guantanamo Bay to other third countries (a practice called
rendition), where they will find much worse living conditions, even most
administration proponents admit. "Aside from these puzzling
contradictions, we also find the administration's pro-abortion policies to
be wholly inconsistent with its stated no-torture policy,"
said Lynda Bell, President of Florida Right to Life.
If, as Obama says, the U.S. moral compass
was askew during the Bush administration years concerning the treatment of
terrorists, then how can it be corrected by rewarding the dismemberment,
poisoning, and killing of children? "The Obama administration and his
political supporters in Florida refuse to permit pain-relieving anesthesia for
the baby to avoid the agony of dismemberment, poisoning, and death,"
said Adam Goldman, Vice President for Legislative Affairs.
Florida Right to Life calls for the end of
torture of children in Florida. If we can do this for terrorists, why can't we
do it for a baby?
