Florida Right to Life Cheers Tebow Ad to Air on
CBS During Super Bowl

NARAL and it's partner "Women's Media Center" have
targeted CBS for its plans to air an autobiographical TV commercial describing
why University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow felt his mother made the right
choice not to abort him when she was diagnosed with a serious medical condition
during pregnancy.
The completely non-partisan commercial is narrated by Tim Tebow, and does not
contain criticism of any interest groups. Women's Media Center, with the full
backing of NARAL and its affiliates, have launched a national campaign this
week attacking Tim Tebow and CBS by launching an online petition to censor CBS
for exercising its First Amendment right to speech.
Florida Right to Life finds it disturbing that NARAL and its allies have
so little regard
for the right of a media organization to express itself freely under the First
Amendment. Carrie Eisnaugle, President of Florida Right to Life stated, "CBS
should be applauded for standing up against anti-constitutional threats to its
freedom. We also believe Tim Tebow has the right to tell his story, and
we applaud him for having the courage to do so."
It has become painfully obvious that the last thing the anti-life movement
desires is for true stories from individuals like Tim Tebow to become known to
the larger American audience.
