Oratory Contest PA MIDEAST REGION - April 11 2010, 1:30 PM
WANTED: High School students from Berks, Carbon, Northampton, Lehigh, & Schuykill counties to give a 5 to 7 minute pro-life speech on abortion, euthanasia, infanticide, or stem cell research. MONEY & PERKS Speeches need not be memorized. There is a HUGE amount of info to draw from in the right-hand column ------> ENTRY POSTMARK DEADLINE MARCH 29,2010 The Mideast Regional Oratory Contest will be held at St. Jane's Father Farrell Hall located on the 1900 block of Washington Boulevard, Easton, PA. Qualifying Division (11th & 12th Grade) 1st prize: $100 2nd & 3rd prize: $50 Novice Division (9th & 10th Grade) 1st prize: $50 2nd & 3rd prize: $25 The 1st & 2nd prize winners in the Qualifying Division advances to the State Finals April 26 in Harrisburg. 1st prize state winner advances to the National Finals in Pittsburgh on June 24-26, 2009 with all expenses paid for the winner. 1st prize: $1000 2nd prize: $750 3rd prize: $500 4th prize: $250 REGIONAL CONTEST APPLICATION FORM Past Oratory Contest Winners For Teachers: MIDEAST REGIONAL ORATORY CONTEST FLYER Have Questions?
