In a shocking move, Governor Josh Shapiro did not renew the 28 year old contract with Real Alternatives, which administers the program which funds pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies throughout the Commonwealth.
The services that Real Alternatives provides to the women of Pennsylvania are crucial. Approximately 55% of women who come to their program considering abortion, choose life for their baby! Also, 91% of women pressured to abort choose to have their baby!
Over the last 28 years their compassionate support has helped over 14,000 women annually choose childbirth over abortion, receive adoption education, and improve parenting skills.

GOOD NEWS: 1,404 Blair County teens and young adults went online to read about abortion
In August of 2012, the Travis Chuff Memorial Fund donated $1,000 to set up a specific Google advertising campaign for TeenBreaks.com to cover Blair County.
This teen friendly site, which gives the facts about having an abortion, receives at least one email EVERY DAY from a teen who decided not to have an abortion after Googling "abortion", "teen pregnancy" or "teen abortion", finding and visiting www.TeenBreaks.com.
A thank you letter from the Rosetta Foundation, TeenBreaks.com owner /designer, reports that 1,404 teens and young adults from the Blair County area visited TeenBreaks.com as a result of this localized campaign during the year. That is "just $.71/each at a most critical time in their lives. We have no way of knowing how many lives were saved as a result of this outreach, but we do know well the importance of reaching them with a pro-life message when it is needed most."

It is scientifically incontrovertible fact that a human person exists from the moment of fertilization in the mother's womb and does not receive another cell from his mother's body. He or she is genetically complete, unique, and cannot be duplicated. All of the characteristics that person will have as an adult are already determined, including eye color, skin pigmentation, sex and intelligence potential. With nourishment and time, the new individual life will develop from the instant of fertilization through childhood, adolescence, maturity, and old age, to natural death.

VOTE PRO-LIFE! It is very important to know what pro-life legislation your representatives have or have not sponsored.
Check out the National Right To Life Committee's Senate Scoreboard and House Scoreboard to find how each member of Congress has voted on life legislation.
If your representatives have voted pro-life, call or email them to thank them and encourage them to be steadfast.
If not, contact them to express the life facts and citizen responsibilities surrounding the issue.

The term "all men" has always meant "all human beings" and it is a biological fact that an embryo from a human being is a human being from the moment of fertilization.
Therefore, from the moment of fertilization the pre-born has the unalienable right to life!
