As the official affiliate of Ohio Right to Life, Clark County Right to Life works with and for you to educate citizens on the three life issues of abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.
We have exciting plans for the coming year!
Already we held our Educational Fair on January 27, 2008, a great success.
During 2008 we will continue to: * pass laws to protect unborn babies and their mothers * work to educate young people in our schools * promote our speakers' bureau * create a culture which affirms the sanctity of human life
A lot to do, but we enjoy working for the pro-life movement!
Some people (maybe our friends, our coworkers, or even family members) agree with the Supreme Court's 1973 decisions which legalized abortion throughout the nine months of pregnancy for any reason whatsoever. Some do not respect the handicapped or honor the elderly.
We, however, love, honor, and support the unborn child, his or her mother, the handicapped newborn, and the elderly. We must do all that we can in 2008 to work for the first civil right, the right to life.

It is scientifically incontrovertible fact that a human person exists from the moment of fertilization in the mother's womb and does not receive another cell from his mother's body. He or she is genetically complete, unique, and cannot be duplicated. All of the characteristics that person will have as an adult are already determined, including eye color, skin pigmentation, sex and intelligence potential. With nourishment and time, the new individual life will develop from the instant of fertilization through childhood, adolescence, maturity, and old age, to natural death.
