As we see yet another year come to an end, may we all be filled wit gratitude to God for all the accomplishments we have to note this past year.
The Partial-birth Abortion Ban is now final. The procedure is no longer being done legally in the U.S.A.
Funding of embryonic stem cell research by our tax dollars has been kept to minimum and adult stem cell research is more promising than ever. The scientific community has announced a breakthrough that some skin cells can be made into stem cells very similar to embryonic stem cells, in that the cells can develop into various other specialized cells, potentially eliminating the need for embryonic stem cells for research purposes. We thank God for these positive pro-life achievements.
Abortions continue to be legal through all 9 months gestation in all 50 states and euthanasia is making a renewed push. The Harry Potter books and movies cleverly promote it, and the new movie "The Golden Compass" promotes or introduces audiences to atheism.
May we, with heartfelt gratitude and confidence, petition our loving God Savior to give us the grace we need to continue the battle for life.

It is scientifically incontrovertible fact that a human person exists from the moment of fertilization in the mother's womb and does not receive another cell from his mother's body. He or she is genetically complete, unique, and cannot be duplicated. All of the characteristics that person will have as an adult are already determined, including eye color, skin pigmentation, sex and intelligence potential. With nourishment and time, the new individual life will develop from the instant of fertilization through childhood, adolescence, maturity, and old age, to natural death.

Pro-Life Perspective on Voting
If a mother and her child are trapped in a burning house, I'm not going to look at a firefighter and ask his or her position on tuition tax credits, immigration, or trade policies.
I just want to know if the firefighter is going to rescue the woman and her baby from harm.
