STOP PLANNED PARENTHOOD

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is the nation's largest operator of abortion facilities proudly admitting to have committed over 3,000,000 post-implantation abortion procedures since it first started doing them in New York state in 1970. The Planned Parenthood Empire has been built and sustained in large part by money from the U.S. taxpayers. Planned Parenthood's own annual reports indicate that it received $2.2 billion of taxpayer money between 1987 and 2001. Thirty percent ($202.7 million) of Planned Parenthood's income ($672.6 million) in its 2000/01 fiscal year came from government grants or contracts. Incredibly, PPFA made $454 million of profit from 1987 to 2001!

New information shows Planned Parenthood, as of June 2005, had net assets valued at $784.1 million, of which $302.1 million is unrestricted. PPFA has another $107.6 million that is temporarily restricted. Despite sitting on a huge nest egg of hundreds of millions, the abortion business is still working overtime to get state and federal tax dollars. Nearly one-third of its income ($272.7 million) comes from American taxpayers. The annual report shows Planned Parenthood did 255,015 abortions in 2004 alone (up 4.3% from 2003), generating an estimated $95 million. A scant 1,414 customers were referred to adoption agencies; down more than 20% from 2003. The figures show Planned Parenthood continues to be the largest abortion business in the United States. In 1984, it did about 5.5 percent of all abortions nationwide, but the figure has increased to nearly 20 percent as of 2004.

The Planned Parenthood Health Care Hoax exposed in PP's OWN new 25-year plan, Vision 2025, clearly uncovering the true nature of the organization to promote uninhibited sex, abortion as a method of birth control and a part of health care, and sex education in our schools K-12. The very graphic sexual images that PP tries to convince everyone is just 'health education,' are material that robs our children of their innocence and their natural sexual development. Throughout this entire 25-year plan, this supposed health care organization does not mention the word 'patient' even once. PP actually proudly labels its efforts as that of a 'social movement.' PP is funded by our tax dollars.

Where are Planned Parenthood's 160 abortion locations? - The estimated total number of current U.S. PP clinics is 846. Remember that all PP clinics provide contraceptives that sometimes abort children before implantation. Of these 846, a total of 160 U.S. PP clinics were identified as also providing post-implantation surgical or chemical (RU-486, also known as mifepristone or Mifeprex) abortions.

The purpose of STOPP is to shut down Planned Parenthood programs. - STOPP is a Christian organization of parents, based on the Gospel of St. Matthew, Chapter 10. of parents who share the belief that we have the God-given right and obligation to raise our children, from the moment of conception. Parents who believe that our obligation extends to making sure that any monies collected from us (either by the government, by a company that sells us products, or by some charitable fund) is not used to support the slaughter of innocent babies or the abuse of our growing children. And, finally, parents who believe our school systems should be dedicated to educating our children on basic skills and not using their time for the social engineering programs of PP and other groups.
