The National March for Life will be held January 19, 2024 in Washington DC. For those interested in attending, please call the Youngstown Diocese (330) 744-8451 for info regarding buses going from the local area.
Local Prayer Vigil/March For Life
As in previous years, we will be assembling for our local observance January 19th at 1:30 p.m., downtown in front of the Thomas D. Lambros Federal Building at the foot of the Market St. Bridge across from the Mahoning County Courthouse for those who can't go to Washington giving an opportunity for all to participate locally in conjunction with the D.C. March.
Annual Mass for Life
As we have had in the past, our special Mass for Life will take place on Sunday, January 14th at 4 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral followed by a downtown Pro-life Expo and reception with light refreshments.

Visit our RTLMC Pro-Life booth in the Medical building on Austintown Drive while at the fair. This opportunity enables us to reach thousands of people with the PRO-LIFE message. We have fact sheets and brochures on many pro-life issues, including abstinence, pregnancy help, euthanasia, stem cell research, and post abortion help. Our family friendly booth has something for everyone: Fetal models, pro-life DVD presentations, hand stickers, bracelets, bags, magnets and stamps for young and old alike.

Our local Day of Remembrance is held at the Memorial to the Unborn behind Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Shrine at 517 South Belle Vista in Youngstown. This event memorializes all the babies killed by abortion, and is observed nationally in September. Our sincere thanks to all who attended this all-important pro-life event in 2023. The 2024 date will be posted once determined.

PLEASE RESERVE SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6th (Respect Life Sunday) at 1:30 p.m. for the 2024 LIFE CHAIN to be held at our usual location, at the intersection of Market St. & Rte. 224, in Boardman. It’s a great and busy location (with a lot of traffic/passers by) whereby we can raise awareness to abortion (the killing of many innocent children) and also the negative impact it has on BOTH the mothers and fathers of these children. Signs will be provided, and parking is available at St. Charles’ parking lot, as in previous years.
Come join us as we join Life Chains across the country standing an hour in prayerful protest of abortion.
