40 Days for Life
40 Days for Life Vigils take place in over 750 cities from coast to coast in North America — and in 50 nations around the world. We are blessed to have over 750,000 faithful prayer warriors taking a stand for life and being a voice for the voiceless - over 15,230 lives saved, over 180 abortion workers quit, over 95 abortion centers closed!

The first 40 Days for Life campaign each year takes place during the Christian season of Lent—starting on Ash Wednesday and ending on Palm Sunday. The second campaign of the year always begins the fourth Wednesday of September.

The last 40 Days for Life Vigils took place from September 26 to November 4, 2018. Visit the 40 Days for Life website for our location in York, for contact info and SIGN UP.

The next 40 Days for Life Vigils will take place from March 6, 2019 – April 14, 2019. Please join us!

March for Life January 19, 2018
Thank you to all who worked on the March for Life Buses & Special Services. The 2018 March for Life was a huge event with over half a million pro-lifers peacefully marching up Constitution Avenue to the Supreme Court in protest of the 1973 Supreme Court decision that made abortion legal through all stages of pregnancy. A special thank you to all who represented our area.
SAVE THE DATE: March for Life January 18, 2019

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Welcome to the website of the York County Chapter Pennsylvanians for Human Life. We are excited to have this wonderful tool working for us 24/7, thus enabling us to better serve you.

Our goal is to unite all of us and our pro-life activities, so that we can become a dynamic force in establishing respect for the sanctity of life, and eliminating the culture of death, in York County.

Make no mistake about it, we are engaged in a war for the very soul of America. The enemy is a formidable enemy. Therefore we must be ever vigilant, aggressive, and unyielding in our efforts to bring the pro-life message to all the people.

Please join the team.

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for the pro-life cause.

Mat Jordan, President

IN THE SILENCE OF THE WOMB

There is a story about the congregation of a little church in Nazi Germany during the holocaust that took place in Europe in the middle of the last century. Their little church was situated near railroad tracks that carried the human cargo headed for the gas chambers and the ovens of concentration camps such as Auschwitz, and Buchenwald, and Dachau. The victims were packed so tightly in the freight cars that at times, those who died remained in place until the cars were emptied at the camps.

As the train neared the little church, the Jews would scream for mercy, for help, knowing that the Christians were holding services. When the cars got closer and the Christians inside the church could hear the screaming, it made them very uncomfortable, because there was nothing they could do. They had waited too long. So they began to sing. And as the sounds from the train grew stronger, the Christians sang a little louder. By the time the cars passed the church, the church goers were singing at the top of their lungs. Our contemporary American holocaust takes place...in the silence of the womb.

In the silence of the womb...the abortionist introduces a powerful suction tube with a very sharp cutting edge. The baby's developing little body is scraped from the wall of the uterus and suctioned out at the same time. This procedure is called a suction curettage. Some of us begin to sing. Others of us have been singing since Roe v. Wade.

In the silence of the womb...the abortionist employs a very sharp loop-shaped knife with which the baby's body is cut to pieces and removed from the womb. This is called Dilation and Curettage. This is hard. There are many singers now.

In the silence of the womb...the abortionist injects a powerful salt solution into the amniotic sac and the baby begins to inhale this deadly chemical solution. The baby reacts violently, kicking and thrashing, but there is no relief. The solution burns and scalds the baby inside and out, but there is no place to hide. It takes about an hour of this torture before the baby dies. The mother then delivers a dead baby, usually within 72 hours. Everybody is singing, even those who never sing.

In the silence of the womb...guided by ultrasound, and using a pliers-like instrument, the abortionist proceeds to literally tear the baby limb from limb, while still in the womb, until all that remains is the head which must be crushed because it is too big to fit down the birth canal. Can you imagine the pain !! This is called Dilation and Evacuation. The baby tries to scream but it isn't time yet. Besides, we are singing very loud.

In the silence of the womb...and guided by ultrasound, the abortionist locates the baby's foot and begins to drag the baby down the birth canal. The baby panics. What is happening?? The abortionist delivers all but the head of the baby, then jabs a pair of surgical scissors into the base of the scull of the baby, opens the scissors to make a larger hole, inserts a suction tube, and suctions out the baby's brain. The scull collapses, the baby is now dead, and the delivery is completed. This is called partial birth abortion. Many of us are singing so loud that you can't hear yourself think. Even the abortionist sometimes sings.

In the silence of the womb...mayhem reigns.

In the silence of the womb...infanticide is legitimized.

In the silence of the womb...the American Holocaust is taking place.

Please God, help us to stop singing.
