The deadline to return your voted absentee or mail-in ballot is 8:00 PM on November 8, 2022.

What is the difference between a Mail-in ballot and an Absentee Ballot?
The Absentee Ballot is guaranteed in the state constitution as a right for those who can't vote at their polling place due to an illness or being at a distance too far away. Not wanting to change the constitution, the state came up with a Mail-in ballot for those who don't want to go to the polling place during these uncertain times. Simply put: Absentee Ballots are for those who can't go, Mail-in Ballots are for those who don't want to go to their polling place.

If you apply for/ask for a ballot to be mailed to you, can you vote at your polling place?
If you have received a ballot in the mail, your polling place will know. In the past you were given a provisional ballot, which may or may not be counted depending on whether or not you mailed in the ballot you received in the mail. You can't vote twice. Voter fraud is a federal offense. If your mail-in ballot is received by the deadline, you will not be allowed to vote at your polling place.
