In a shocking move, Governor Josh Shapiro did not renew the 28 year old contract with Real Alternatives, which administers the program which funds pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies throughout the Commonwealth.
The services that Real Alternatives provides to the women of Pennsylvania are crucial. Approximately 55% of women who come to their program considering abortion, choose life for their baby! Also, 91% of women pressured to abort choose to have their baby!
Over the last 28 years their compassionate support has helped over 14,000 women annually choose childbirth over abortion, receive adoption education, and improve parenting skills.
Go to www.realalternatives.org/support for more information and to donate to this necessary women empowering program so Real Alternatives can continue to offer the services that Planned Parenthood wants to end.
Thank you to all those who attended the Pennsylvania March for Life on Monday, October 16, 2023. And a special thanks to State Rep. Jim Gregory who provided the bus to Harrisburg, light refreshments, snacks & sandwiches, so there was no cost.

LOGICAL ARGUMENT: It is wrong to kill an innocent human being. Abortion is the killing of an innocent human being. Therefore abortion is wrong.
Abortion Pill Kills Nearly 4 million preborn children have been killed, 24 maternal deaths and over 4,000 reports of adverse affects since FDA approval. More info: https://www.liveaction.org/abortion-pill-kills/

On Saturday, November 2nd our chapter was pleased to offer the Bedford community the opportunity to watch the film, “Gosnell”.
This film was released in the Fall of 2018 to only 600 theaters across the United States. The closest theater screening the film was in Greensburg. To provide an opportunity for members of our community to see the film our chapter rented the Pitt Theater for a special screening. We had a very good response.
The other film recently released, which addresses the sanctity of life was “Unplanned”. This film was screened here in Bedford earlier this year and attendance was very good.
Both of these feature films provide “inside” views of the abortion industry, a billion-dollar industry designed to kill unborn babies.
We have obtained two copies each of “Gosnell” and “Unplanned” to loan (free of charge) to any group who missed the opportunity to see the films and would like to see them and share them with a small group. The “Gosnell” film is rated PG-13 and the “Unplanned” film is rated R. To see a Christian review of either of these films go to www.Pluggedin.com. To obtain either or both of these films contact Doug Braendel at 814-623-6887.

It is our hope that by providing you with the facts you will become passionate about the pro-life cause and help overcome the Culture of Death that has shadowed our country.
It is scientifically incontrovertible fact that a human person exists from the moment of fertilization in the mother's womb and does not receive another cell from his mother's body. He or she is genetically complete, unique, and cannot be duplicated. All of the characteristics that person will have as an adult are already determined, including eye color, skin pigmentation, sex and intelligence potential. With nourishment and time, the new individual life will develop from the instant of fertilization through childhood, adolescence, maturity, and old age, to natural death.
